Hi there,
I created an auto-generated transaction incorrectly, twice, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to delete the recurring transaction. When I go into edit, the transaction origin says Manual, and I am unable to change the origin, and if I delete each single transaction they return upon next open of iBearMoney. Help!
Hi. Yes you are right, correcting or deleting planned transactions is not easy in the current version. You need to find your very first not registered transaction and then delete it. To find your first transaction, please either use a filter for a long period, or use search. We are going to make it easier to work with planned transactions in one of the next releases; this is a high priority task.

I've tried "pulling down" everywhere. Especially off the Transactions tab. Nothing.
Remember, I entered a Planned Transaction, and wanted to change the due date. You said, I needed to do a search and delete that original root Planned transaction. Considering, how I have not yet paid this bill-- maybe that's why the search has not show up?
So then I went and highlighted a date range on the calendar so all my transaction showed up. Again, I tried "pulling down" every place on that transaction list for the search to show up. Nothing yet.

Search is available only on the Transactions Tab when Transactions is selected at the top, not Planned.
It sounds like you have already changed the custom filter to help you browse the planned transactions, the only other thing I can think of is that maybe it did get registered. If that is the case I would go to the Budget tab, select the category the transaction belongs to and click Transactions on the graph page, you can browse through only those transactions either forward or back from the current date.

No-- the Budget tab with the category selected only shows a summary. The Reports tab is good for getting a list of all the transactions, but they aren't editable at all from there.
Maybe I'm missing something. Has anybody else been able to find this Search option from the Transaction list on the Transactions tab?

Its there, check the the screenshot on this page.
It is only available when you are looking at the Transactions list, if you swipe the top to "Planned" it will no longer be there though.
Also, when your in the budget Tab looking at the summary for your category, tap Transactions at the bottom, that will show you all the transactions for that category only, and you can edit them from there.

To answer your question: there is no search in the iPad version yet, but it has a big calendar, which you can use to find your first transaction. If you have further questions, please specify them in the iPad related forums.
