You can add a credit card from the Liability subtab of your Balance tab. When creating a credit card, set its limit and debt. Limit means how much you can spend with this credit card before overdraft, and debt means how much you have already spent with your credit card.
Once you create your credit card, it will be accessible as a payment account. When you pay from this account, it will show your actual account balance, which is the difference between your credit card limit and current debt to the bank.
Please note!
1. Whenever you record a credit card transaction, it also means that you need to pay some commission to the bank, not just what you have spent. iBearMoney does not calculate this commission automatically, and you need to add it manually as a separate Expense transaction, for which you need to create a category “commission”.
2. When you exceed your transaction limit, you still will be able to register transactions with your credit card account, but your credit card will be showing you negative balance. It means that you have exceeded your overdraft limit.
